As the world celebrated love on Valentine’s Day, a London based Fashion and Beauty Photographer, Seye Isikalu, released a short film which he calls The Ocean.
It tells the story of two lovers, and the cycle of their affair (not spoiling).
The first scene pulls you in.
And by the time you get to the end, you will get this bittersweet feeling, on one hand wishing it was longer (it’s a short film, duh!) and on the other hand, an oddly satisfying feeling of time (and data) well spent.
It is everything we want our Nollywood romance stories to look like; original, powerful, entertaining. It leaves a mark on your mind that just makes you want to get back to it.
