It was a comedy show. A Friday night event where attendees could let loose a little, forget their worries for some 200 minutes and just immerse in the moment. This is not an attempt to sound extra but the wrong outfit could completely truncate the experience.
At Bovi’s Man on Fire (yeah, it’s been three days but we’re still talking about it and that’s fine), we spotted celebrities who walked into the Eko Convention Centre with no worries in the world. How we made our pick? Well, they basically just had to be wearing jeans. That simple.
In an entertainment space where we suppose a number of people show up at events ready for the kill, with outfits screaming “nominee for best dressed list”, we’d love to appreciate the few people who get that attending a comedy show did not quite require anyone to dress to kill.
We loved every look at Bovi’s Man on Fire but these ones were our peculiar favourites – because jeans.
