The elders say.
Aminah Hart was grieving over the death of her two sons, Marlon and Louis, who died at just 14 weeks and 14 months respectively, due to a genetic disorder called x-linked Myotubular Myopathy.
But at 42, she still wanted a child, so she underwent IVF from an anonymous sperm donor. And when the child was born, she saw how beautiful her daughter was and felt relief.
But there was one thing that bothered her, she remembered how hard it was growing up without a father and decided she didn’t want that for her daughter, so she tracked him down.
At the sperm bank where he had donated, Scott had told the genetic clinic that he was willing to meet his sperm made flesh. And so, about one year after their daughter Leila was born, Aminah and Scott met for the first time in Melbourne on the 18th of August, 2013.
Aminah said;
“It was much easier than I’d anticipated. I was nervous. I was walking in to meet a complete stranger and I had his genetic child in my arms,”
And a few months later, they fell in love. And this happened,.
So with their daughter and Scott’s own three boys and a girl, they are now happily married and still going strong.
Aminah has even written a book.
And its going to be made into a movie.
Lets not forget that this amazing story started because a man had to jerk off inside a little tube to help a complete stranger bear her own child.
